The THOR project has organized the session SP8 at the META22 conference, held in Torremolinos, Spain, 19-22 July 2022, named «Molecular Optomechanics», a nascent field that holds the promise for new phenomena and applications in the classical and quantum realms.
The topics of the session were:
- Frequency upconversion using molecular optomechanics;
- Collective effects in molecular ensembles;
- Plasmonic and hybrid nanocavities;
- Light-vibration quantum correlations;
- Light-induced effects in SERS, TERS and SEIRA;
- Electrical excitation and probing of molecular vibrations;
- Quasinormal modes and dissipative coupling in molecular optomechanics;
- Quantum effects in plasmonics.
